Long Range Gold Search with Smartphone
With the Long Range Probe (L), the OKM Delta Ranger can be used as a long-range gold detector to find buried objects at a distance of several miles. The exact location of gold objects can be determined using Cross Guidance (Triangulation). Since Ionic and Bionic Stream are long-range search modes, the probe is used in the horizontal direction.

Bionic Stream (Bio-Energy System)
During gold detection, Bionic Stream interacts with the detector user's natural bio-energy to analyze the minimum changes in the object's substance. Gold prospectors and treasure hunters can locate almost any gold object, regardless of how long the target object has been buried. Therefore, Bionic Stream is especially recommended for searching for freshly buried objects such as gold jewelry, gold statues, gold rings, gold coins, gold bars and gold nuggets.
Ionic Stream (Ions-Chamber-System)
The operating mode Ionic Stream measures the ion radiation (ion absorber) of buried gold objects. Therefore, the direction is important for success when measuring. The integrated digital compass indicates the direction during measurement.
This detection method is specifically designed to locate gold artifacts that have been buried for a long time. The longer the object remains underground, the better it can be detected by Ionic Stream.
Best Long Range Performance in Bionic and Non-Bionic Ionic Stream
Bionic Stream allows gold searching in damp places, wet soil and even after rainy days. This operating mode does not require dry ground like many other long range detectors.
Additionally, both long-range modes, Bionic Stream and Ionic Stream, achieve their best performance in sparsely populated areas. Since the integrated sensors are very sensitive to changes in ionic and bionic fields, accuracy is greatly increased in pristine or undeveloped areas.

Detect Gold: Triple Feedback in One Hit
In long range modes, a hit is reported as follows:
- acoustic feedback (if sound is enabled)
- vibration (if vibration is enabled)
- visual feedback (flashing crosshairs).
Treasure Detection and Verification with Cross-Support (Triangulation)
Triangulation (Cross Steering) uses two or more points to locate a target. Anytime you get hits on the same target point from different locations, it is likely to be a potential target.

Delta Ranger Professional: More Probes, More Treasure

With 2 additional probes, the Delta Ranger becomes a Professional detector that allows not only long-range gold detection, but also 3D ground scans and deep analysis of the underground.
3D Ground Scan with Best Depth Performance
When the Ground Scanning Probe (G) is installed, 2 operating modes are activated that allow vertical measurement of the subsurface: Magnetometer and 3D Ground Scan.
Magnetometer

The ready-to-use operating mode is recommended for preparing the scan area and clearing it of ferrous materials close to the surface. This allows deeper and more accurate detection of buried objects 3D Ground Scan.
3D Ground Scan

OKM is renowned for its 3D imaging detection technology developed and designed in Germany. 3D Ground Scan is the most efficient operating mode for finding target objects up to 60 ft (18 m) underground.
After recording the measurement, treasure hunters can analyze the scan image in detail and determine the location, size and depth of detected targets before excavation.

Using the Thermo Probe (T) unlocks 2 more operating modes that allow for both horizontal and vertical measurements: Thermo Scan and Thermo Stream.

Thermo Scan

With Thermo Scan, larger surfaces can be scanned for temperature differences. Just like in the built-in 3D Ground Scan operating mode, the surface is measured by the detector following a specific scheme.
Thanks to its extremely short probe, the OKM Delta Ranger is ideal for horizontal wall surface measurement. This makes temperature differences on walls visible and provides clues about hidden rooms and corridors behind them.
The detector can also be used vertically to detect underground voids, chambers and tunnels (as in 3D Ground Scan).
Thermo Stream

The Thermo Stream operating mode uses the live camera image as a background and a false color scheme for simplified visualization of temperature differences. If both are correctly set using crosshair calibration before measurement, it is possible to precisely determine the surface temperature of objects and surfaces at specific points.
Surface temperature of targeted object is displayed
- as a simplified colored point cloud on the camera image,
- by a pointer on the temperature scale,
- Value in °Celsius or °Fahrenheit.
Science-Inspired Void and Cave Detection
Thermography often uses color associations for everyday products such as thermostats or faucets: blue is associated with cold, while red is perceived as hot.
In science, false color schemes (or pseudo-color schemes) are preferred. False color representation uses colors that deviate from the natural color impression to make the subtle nuances of a hue more easily distinguishable.
Thermo Scan and Thermo Stream modes build on this advantage and therefore use the false color spectrum: from black (cold) to blue, purple, red and yellow to white (warm).
