The X-Terra 505 works with two different frequency search coils. The Standard 7.5 kHz coil for finding larger and deeper targets, and the 18.75 kHz coil for finding smaller, closer-to-the-surface targets. You have maximum flexibility no matter what type of search you are doing. Changing the coil of the X-Terra 505 is like changing the detector, the only difference is that you are not changing the detector!
