Easy-to-use Menu Pages group similar functions together under Detect and Map sections, with all settings quickly accessible. Use the Guide Series to get started. You don't have to be an expert to find gold!
Maximum Gold Sensitivity
The incredible sensitivity of the GPZ 7000 with its Super D coil gives you the ultimate advantage in this field. Find the gold that others have still missed, from sub-gram gold to those elusive 'retirement bars'.
Wireless Audio Freedom
Detect without headphones plugged into the detector. With the WM 12 Wireless Module, you can choose to use the built-in speaker, the included headphones, or your favorite headphones.
Precise Ground Balance
Most gold is buried in 'difficult' mineralized ground that many detectors cannot handle. The GPZ 7000 automatically 'balances' and 'tracks' even the most difficult ground conditions.
GPS Locating and PC Mapping
See where you find and record detected gold finds. With the built-in GPS you’ll effectively cover more ground and never miss a nugget! Save your favorite “hot spots” by recording data to XChange 2 with Google Maps.
Improved Noise Immunity
The GPZ 7000's exceptional noise immunity ensures very smooth and quiet detection. With 256 Noise Canceling channels, the GPZ 7000 picks up less atmospheric noise. Listen to the bottom, not the noise interference!
Waterproof coil 1 m (3 ft) ‡
The GPZ 14 coil is waterproof and submersible to a depth of 1m. Easily detect rivers and coasts with no fuss! The weatherproof design of the GPZ 7000 allows you to detect in wet or wet conditions.
*Compared to average performance of GPX 5000 in typical environments. Actual performance will depend on prevailing conditions.
‡ The GPZ 7000 detector is weatherproof only. The GPZ 14 coil is fully waterproof to 1 m. The WM 12 is not waterproof or weatherproof.
"GPZ 7000 won't make gold, but sometimes it looks like it could!"
Excerpt from test report № 2
"I came back to an old rich patch, because before I could not work it because of noise and instability. The difference with the GPZ 7000 was astonishing. The gold started beautifully and stably with a distance of 30 grams at the end of the session. Its largest mass weighs 12 grams and is at a depth of 17 inches. ”
Excerpt from Examination Report №1
"He managed to find good gold including 2½ ounces of bulk over a depth of 2½ ounces. Even a GPX 5000 with a 20-inch Monoloop couldn't touch it."
Jonathan Porter, Australia
I was finding gold, and it remained as if no detector had ever seen it before. "
"I was having a 'Eureka Moment', the whole experience was mind blowing. The GPZ 7000 was working some serious electronic magic. I didn't find many large gold nuggets for many years - 1.6 ounces of gold in less than three hours! The GPZ was able to detect thin sample gold at depths far beyond what any of the hottest VLF detectors in the land can reach."
"The GPZ 7000 takes gold detecting to the NEXT LEVEL and I am very fortunate to be one of the first people to see its power first hand. Our goal for the next year is to spend as much time as possible using this detector at known gold locations," he said.
Steve Herschbach, USA
Maximum Gold Recovery Detector Comparison
With extreme depth and maximum sensitivity the GPZ 7000 outperforms both the SDC 2300 and GPX 5000.
* Compared to average performance of GPX 5000 in typical environments. Actual performance will depend on prevailing conditions.
The information shown in this graph is an out-of-the-box comparison, is indicative only and is based on the results of laboratory measurements and field tests performed by Minelab using a GPX 5000 with an 11" Monoloop coil, an SDC 2300 with an 8" Monoloop coil and a GPZ 7000 with a GPZ 14 Super-D coil. The nominal performance of the GPX 5000 with an 11" Monoloop coil is used as the basis for comparing other detectors. The performance of the GPX 5000 on larger nuggets is shown to be better when compared with a similar 15” x 12" Monoloop coil. Note. A GPZ 14 That said, a GPZ 7000 with coils will typically perform even better than a GPX 5000 with larger accessory coils on small to medium-sized nuggets.
Please note that the results shown are a relative and realistic comparison of the three detectors for typical gold ground conditions for detecting the gold weight ranges shown, but are not representative of performance in all conditions and should not be considered definitive.
Minelab makes no warranty or representation that the performance levels shown will actually be achieved as the performance of the three detectors will vary depending on prevailing conditions. Relevant factors in detector performance include, but are not limited to, detector settings, coil size and configuration, ground type, mineralization levels and type, electromagnetic interference, gold nugget size, shape and composition, and operator skill level.New Gold Technology
Take a quantum leap in gold performance with Bruce Candy's revolutionary new technology.
ZVT technology goes NEXT LEVEL for all serious gold prospectors, providing significantly improved depth. You will no longer be limited to using sine wave continuous VLF transmission detectors, mineralized ground tackle or square wave PI transmission detectors which can be insensitive to changing gold sizes and compositions.
"This revolutionary new ZVT technology far surpasses GPX detectors in detecting deep large nuggets and finding gold at any depth. The GPZ 7000 will reopen the gold fields."
Bruce Candy, GPZ Inventor
ZVT (Zero Voltage Transmission) increases sensitivity to gold by generating ultra-constant high-power opposite polarity magnetic fields. This innovative technology detects gold nuggets at extreme depths.
Super-D The Super-D smart coil consists of a central transmit winding and two outer receive windings. This configuration greatly reduces interference in magnetic soils, reducing ground noise.
GPSi uses the au-blox GPS engine to integrate location and time data with the detector settings . This creates WayPoint, FindPoint and GeoHunt files for use with XChange 2.
Wi-Stream uses low-power digital audio transmission to achieve no perceptible audio time delay (<10 ms). This ensures reliability and maximum sound quality.
Simple Menu Navigation
With intuitive page navigation for detection and mapping functions and icons that show settings at a glance, you’ll be an expert in no time! The GPZ 7000 is fully customizable and configurable with easily adjustable functions.
