It easily fits in your bag and compresses to 24.75" (62.86 cm) and extends to 56.75" (144.14 cm).

Weight: (1.38 kg) is quite light even with the search coil attached.

The world's first fully upgradeable waterproof detector series! Each Vortex model upgrade includes additional operating frequencies, more advanced features and more power!

Select frequencies of 5kHz, 9kHz, 13kHz, 18kHz, 25kHz, Multi Salt with VX9 or search with Vortex's simultaneous Multi-Frequency option for excellent detection on all targets in all soils.

Note: Lower frequencies generally provide significant advantages on larger, more conductive targets (i.e. large silver coins, mass burials, or treasures). They allow you to detect larger targets at greater depths.
Higher frequencies generally provide better performance on smaller, less conductive targets (i.e. hammered silver coins, natural gold particles).
