1280-XVF The world's first metal detector with slow motion discrimination in the frequency range (audio frequency). PULSEGATE SINGLE POLE ES OPERATION. Advanced Fisher circuitry provides silent operation without loss of sensitivity below the "Audio Threshold Tone". The headphone and searchcoil are permanently connected to the control box, ensuring a leak-free connection and positive electrical contact. The device is available with either an 8” or 10.5” searchcoil. The 1280X-8 is a "motion" sensor, meaning that the target must be moved at least slightly to detect it.
