Detech DESERT GOLD 3 is a truly powerful and versatile analog metal detector.
Able to show exceptional performance in all types of terrain conditions, it can operate in MOTION mode with discrimination or QUASI-NO MOTION, ideal for military surveyors.
The detector allows you to have both automatic “tracking” ground balance and advanced manual control for best performance.

The Desert Gold 3 is powered by 4 NiMH rechargeable AA Stylus batteries (included with charger) and has a lifespan of 20-30 hours.
The detector is controlled by rotary analog potentiometers and mechanical switches. It is equipped with sensitivity BOOST (HIGH mode), audio tone adjustment, frequency change to reduce external interference and BATTERY status control LED.
