The main original feature of this detector and all other Aka models is the "hodograph" identification of targets, allowing to identify targets very easily and with a precise value. No other metal detector brand has such an identification.

There are 3 algorithms to choose from, the algorithms are best described as 3 chips that control the detector in different ways depending on the recovery speed and desired targets.

The 3 algorithms named MSF, SSF and MM have their own parameters, for example if you are using MM which has high garbage mode and a very fast recovery speed then all your settings like discrimination, sensitivity, tone of voice etc. are saved under this feature, so when you are using another algorithm like SSF you can save a different range of settings to suit your search needs.

SSF is primarily for use in areas where large flat iron or heavily rusted iron plates are present, which are often detected with a mixed signal or are often mistaken for a non-ferrous signal.

When using the SSF algorithm these errors are avoided, the machine clearly identifies the detected signal as iron.

The MSF is a versatile setting, it has a medium recovery speed that will easily reject or identify most irons, this is best described as a low to medium trash setting and suits most people.

MM, also known as metal trash (MT), is very dynamic and is an ideal setting for working among high iron contamination such as ancient sites, the audio response is very sharp and sensitive, so a slow scan speed is recommended for MM mode
