Manual Long Range Locator (Manual LRL)

New Long Range Locating technology incorporated into the Gold Star 3D Scanner via a new and powerful detection probe called the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit or IMTU.

IMTU generates high frequency wave signals in the direction of the search. These waves intersect with the signals of magnetic fields released from buried metal targets. Then, the reflected signals are received by a pair of antennas, these received signals are converted into digital signals within the main unit of the device and analyzed and visualized on the screen.

Here the user can select the target type or the type of metal the target is made of, choose from preset search programs that include all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including:

Gold Treasure - Gold Ore - Silver - Copper - Platinum - Bronze - Iron - Diamond - Precious Stones - Gold Veins

The distance value projects the scan area in the forward direction, this value can be set in a range from 0 to 3000 meters from the preset values:
250 – 500 – 750 – 1000 – 1250 – 1500 – 1750 – 2000 – 2250 – 2500 – 2750 – 3000 m
Automatic Long Range Locator
The AUTO LRL search system uses IMTU and long-range antennas to search for signals of potential targets within the long-range scan area.
It is an advanced search system that covers wide areas in open areas in the designated area, this system has the ability to detect all kinds of buried metal by analyzing the captured signals.
Here the user can edit the following settings:
- Distance
It is the distance in the front range (forward direction), adjustable in the range 0 - 3000 m as previously explained in the Manual LRL system.
-Depth
It is the maximum depth of possible targets that the device can reach to find potential targets, its value can be set between 0 - 50 m as before.
After selecting the previous settings the user can start the search process and during the search the antennas will move left or right depending on the possible nearby targets, a visual indicator on the screen will guide the user as it displays a left or right progress bar with gradient colors from green (minimum) to red (maximum value).
Control Long Range Locator (CTRL LRL)
CTRL LRL system is one of the new technologies and important features integrated into Gold Star 3D Scanner. It allows the user to set the exact value of the search frequency to search for a certain type of metal or metal alloy according to the specific frequency value, thus achieving more accurate results during searching.
In this system, the user can specify many search-related settings, including:
-Soil structure
The soil type of the ground in the scan area, can be set to one of the following types:
Rock - Mixed - Neutral - Clay - Metallic - Sandy - Mineral - Calcareous - Salty
-Frequency
This is a custom setting that the user can manually adjust using this option.
The values range from 250-5000 MHz and can be set from predefined values such as 250 - 500 - 750…
-Distance
It is the maximum distance between the user location and the target location during the scanning process. This means that the user can search for a specific circular distance around himself, and this distance can be set from 0 to 3000 m, as in previous systems.
-Depth
It is the maximum depth of possible targets that the device can reach to find, its value can be set in the range of 0 - 50 m as explained earlier.
After making all the previous settings, the user moves to the scanning screen and press the "Start Scan" button to begin the searching process.
The results screen will show a circular indicator, the direction arrow indicates the orientation of the antennas in degrees, to the right is the tilt indicator described earlier.
Ionic System (Ionic)
The Ionic system uses a newly developed technology incorporated into a probe called the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit, or IMTU.
IMTU technology is the first of its kind in metal detectors and provides a different approach than the traditional ionic field detection system found in previous Mega Detection devices or competitor devices.
The new technology allows for more accurate detection of ionic fields originating from metal targets buried underground, thanks to IMTU, which ensures that incoming signals are received and processed correctly, with the ability to control some signal settings on the screen for more accurate results.
After selecting the ionic system, the device will start searching directly, here are the settings that can be adjusted by the user:
-Sensibility
During the search process and according to the target scan, the ionic system produces variable audio tone, representing the target ability or the distance between the user and the target.
User can change the value of signal sensitivity to analyze the output sound, the value range is from 0 to 100, the selected value will be displayed on the Sensitivity circular scale.
-Earning
Signal gain or in other words it is signal strength, user can control the signal strength using this setting, like sensitivity it is presented as percentage value (0-100) on circular scale.
In the middle of the screen there is a circular indicator, in the middle of which there is a circle whose diameter and color change according to the received signal and the distance of the target from the device. Depending on the type of target, it shrinks and expands by changing color to one of the following colors (red, blue or green).
Bionic System (BIONIC)
The Bionic system is similar to the Ionic system in terms of how it works and its use of the Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit (IMTU) to perform the scanning process.
But the difference here is that ionic signals are captured from a specific metal object, for example, a gold ring or coin, and then the search is geared towards capturing similar ionic signals from metal objects buried underground within the surrounding area.
This means in ionic search system the search is random and free but in bionic system the search is guided according to predefined signals.
-Sensibility
User can change the sensitivity value to analyze the output sound, the value range is from 0 to 100, the selected value will be shown on the Sensitivity circular scale.
-Earning
Signal gain or in other words signal strength, user can control the signal strength using this setting, like sensitivity it is presented as percentage value (0-100) on circular scale.
Live Stream System
Live Transmission is a system developed to detect various ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It makes a live transmission in real time with a visual representation of the received signal as a specific color stream reflecting the type of target.
For example: precious metals like gold or bronze - ferrous metals like iron - cavities like tunnels.
Measuring or scanning signals is performed with a specially developed probe, the Vertical High Signal Transceiver (VST) probe. For example, the LEDs emit a red light if the targets is a gold object or a blue light if it is a tunnel.
Also, the user can see a visual representation of the signals on the tablet that comes with the device with the Mega Detection Multi Visual Analyzer application, which displays the signal diagram on a graph, and the color of the graph changes accordingly.
3D Ground Scanning
This powerful search system is a new system with completely new technology, especially designed and developed for Mega Detection devices with the latest technologies in 3D ground scanning technologies.
This 3D ground scanning technology uses a new, powerful and unique probe called Multi Ground Scanner (MGS) with four built-in sensors and large surface area, offering more ground coverage during scanning and reducing the time and effort to quickly scan large areas more accurately.
The 3D Ground Scanning system helps the user scan the ground and create a visual representation on both the device screen and the included tablet. This system can make it easier for the user to search and find burials and artifacts, and even underground voids, faster and more accurately.
Settings that can be adjusted from the device screen:
  • Result Screen
The user can choose one of two options:
Device: in this case, a scan results will be presented visually on the device screen.
Tablet: Scan results will be visually presented on the included tablet screen using the Multi Visual Analyzer application.
  • Mode
It is the method of performing the scanning procedure and can be set as follows:
Manual: here the user will manually record the measurement of signals at each scan point.
Automatic: in this case the device will automatically record the measurements of each scan point.
  • Ground
The path value indicates how the user will move through the search to complete the scanning process and there are two options:
One Way: In one way scanning, the user will move and record the measurements at each point in a scan line, and at the end of each line, return with an offset distance to start scanning another line, close to the beginning of the previous line, and close by. This means that the scanning direction will be in one direction in each line, or all scan lines will be parallel to each other.
Zig Zag: in this case, the starting point of the next search line is close to the ending point of the previous line, or in other words, the direction of movement will be opposite to each successive line.
  • Dimension
Here the user can make the following settings:
Width: Indicates the number of scan lines and can be adjusted to the desired value using the arrows on the control panel.
Height: The number of points in each scan line or scan point, can be set as the previous value.
  • Starting Point
The user can set the point in the search area (rectangular area containing scan lines and points) where the scanning procedure will begin.
Left: in this case the scanning process starts from the lower left corner of the search area.
Right: the scanning process will start from the bottom right corner of the search area.
PinPointer System
This system is used to determine the presence of a metal target or cavity through an audible or visual feedback presented on the screen, with the precise location of the buried metal or cavity, scanning for possible targets is performed via the VST.
There are many options on the results screen of this system:
  • Sensibility
During the search process and according to the target scanning, the needle pointing system will emit a special scanning sound with a certain tone and the visual graphic on the screen shows the target presence underground.
The user can change the sensitivity value at any time to analyze the output.
  • Calibration
User can use this option to calibrate sensor sensitivity at any time according to ground type and terrain.
  • Reset
Reset the calibration process to default value.
The visual representation of the received signals on the device screen is a bar graph with a slope according to the type of target.
For example, in the case of receiving metal signals, the bar chart will consist of upward-facing rectangles of different lengths, with colors graduated from green to red in the center at maximum values and then graduated down to green with low values.
In the case of receiving cavity signals such as tunnels, it will be made of downward facing rectangles of different lengths, varying from green in the middle to dark blue at maximum values, and then grading towards green at lower values.
